 Greetings, fellow YA readers! 

I'm pleased to be able to share my thoughts and inspiration related to this selection of Young Adult Materials. This list is curated for a well-rounded view of books and other materials that reflect the interests and contemporary issues surrounding young people age fourteen and above. What we have seen in current publishing is an increase in quality writing, but a deficit in the representation of diverse cultures, ethnicity, gender and LGBTQ+ community members. The selection of materials highlighted here aims to promote more widespread creation and distribution of items of which young people can more closely identify.
